Raleigh church member accused of sexual abuse A former Good Shepherd Lutheran Church member
in Raleigh, North Carolina has been reported for sexual abuse. The member is Kenneth Newcomer, he is 61 years old and is the husband of the former director of that congregation. Alleged kidnapping of Christian children in Uganda A 27-year-old man allegedly abducted 40 children in Uganda under deception. According to Ugandan police reports, he deceived children aged 5 to 16 by offering them education. The victims were rescued on February 2 after a pastor inquired
about these alleged scholarships. There are suspicions that the plan was to kidnap and sell them to a Muslim militant group....
What not to say when someone has God beaten out of them “If being hurt by church causes you to lose faith in God,” so the saying on a popular image macro goes, “then your faith was in people, not in God.” I’ve been seeing this sentiment more and more in the last couple of years; I’ve seen the exact phrasing of the aforementioned macro many times in multiple formats.
