Answering Questions About God, Hell and the Bible I get questions from people on a
regular basis via social media. People reach out and ask me to help them sort out difficult Bible passages, or just to understand some of the more confusing doctrines taught by their pastors from the pulpit.... There’s a common misnomer applied
to Adam and Eve regarding their pre-Fall nature, and you’ve probably heard it before. The statement is that before the Fall, Adam and Eve were “perfect”. Now, before you sharpen your heretic-probing pitchforks... Killed by what they thought would save them Seventy years ago, on the last Saturday morning in January, the MV Princess Victoria left the port of Stranraer in South-West Scotland. She was heading for Ireland with 179 people on board – but never arrived.... “It’s a shame he was an adulterous and unfaithful husband, but he sure was a great theologian and a gift to the church.” Is this sentence intelligible? Might it be regarded as capturing the complex reality of indwelling and ongoing sin for
theologians, or is it simply oxymoronic?
